Big Steve started his DJ career at the age of fourteen back in 1973 at a local youth club known as The Timebridge Youth Centre in Stevenage and he was playing music to all the local kids on a Tuesday night every week using the youth clubs equipment. After a few months he was starting to get recognized as playing some of the best dance music in town and kids would come from all over to hear and dance to all the very latest music that Steve was playing.

The Tuesday night discos become so popular that Jean Dough the organizer of the event was turning kids away as the venue was up to the maximum people allowed in.  

Steve's father decided to set him up with his first set of equipment in 1975 so he could travel outside the area to perform at various types of parties! In 1977 Steve passed his driving test and was approached by an International Entertainment  Agency (Spectrum) Run and owned by Tony Rivers based in Brighton who wanted Steve to work for him. After being with Spectrum for a few months Steve was traveling all over the country  6 nights a week playing to thousands of people of all ages and working alongside some top celebrities! Sadly in 1990 Tony Rivers passed away so Steve decided that he would carry on working locally on his own playing in Herts, Beds and Bucks and continued gaining his present reputation all over the area so then thought he would engage some of the best DJ's to cover the work he can't do personally and now has around 46 working for him so you can choose a price to suit your budget
